Biography: 

Born in Oregon in 1921, 2nd Lt Forbis studied Secretarial Science in the year he attended Oregon State College. While serving with the Army Air Force 522nd Fighter Squadron 27th Fighter Group he was killed while flying over Italy on a mission. He was survived by his parents, five sisters and two brothers.
