"Sgt. Gibson of Springfield, Oregon was a 1997 graduate of Thurston High School. After high school, he attended Oregon State University in Corvallis, graduating in 2003 with a bachelor of science in art, with a special focus on graphic design. He was a member of Theta Chi fraternity. He spent much of his free time designing graphics and houses on his computer or sketching in one of a dozen sketch pads. He had a great sense of humor and a strong sense of doing his best in all his commitments. Brennan is the youngest of six children. He left for Iraq shortly after the birth of his son. Sgt. Gibson was given full military honors. He was 26."
