Gibson, Brennan Chriss

"Sgt. Gibson of Springfield, Oregon was a 1997 graduate of Thurston High School. After high school, he attended Oregon State University in Corvallis, graduating in 2003 with a bachelor of science in art, with a special focus on graphic design. He was a member of Theta Chi fraternity. He spent much of his free time designing graphics and houses on his computer or sketching in one of a dozen sketch pads. He had a great sense of humor and a strong sense of doing his best in all his commitments. Brennan is the youngest of six children. He left for Iraq shortly after the birth of his son.

Fennerty, Sean Patrick

Born in San Diego, California, while attending Oregon State University he was a supervisor for the intramural sports program. Sgt Fennerty enlisted into the Army around 2004. While serving with Company A, 3rd Battalion, 509th Airborne Infantry, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division he was killed from wounds received when his humvee was blown up by an improvised explosive device in Karmah, Anbar Province, Iraq. He was survived by his parent, two sisters and a brother.

Bogardus, Levan Irving

 Sgt. Bogardus was the nose gunner of B-24 #42-50323, "Heaven Can Wait" in the 392nd Bomb Group, 577th Bomb Squadron. During the 200th mission of the 392nd to bomb Bingen, Germany the squadron suffered through poor weather conditions, and attack by 50 FW-109 fighters. During the attack B-24 #42-50323 was shot down, resulting in the loss of the crew. Sgt Bogardus was survived by his parents and sister.
