"Upon the outbreak of the war he enlisted at San Francisco with the 25th Engineers. He saw active service in France, and was mustered out in apparent good health, but later developed heart trouble from the effects of gas." Cpl. McBride died in the General hospital in Santa Barbara, California due to the heart condition.
SSgt Mansfeild served with the Army 187th Glider Infantry, 11 Airborne Division in the New Guinea during WWII. During the invasion of Leyte island, Philippines SSgt. Mansfeild was KIA. He was survived by his parents, four brothers, and his sister.

Capt. Magnuson served in the Army 215th Field Artillery Battalion, stationed in Europe during WWII. During fighting in Luxembourg, Capt. Magnuson was serving with a glider unit where he died for wounds recived in action, on January 3rd, 1945. Capt. Magnuson was survived by his parents, siblings, and wife.

Born in Stroud, Oklahoma, Cpl Lowe, studied Agriculture while attending Oregon Agricultural College. While serving with the Army’s 362nd Infantry, 91st Infantry Division, he died from pneumonia in France. He was survived by his parents and sister.

Born in Grants Pass, Oregon, Pvt Lorenz studied Commerce while attending Oregon Agricultural College. While serving with the Army’s 305th Infantry Regiment, 77th Infantry Division he was killed in France. He was survived by his parents and sister.
Born in Summer Iowa, Pvt Linn studied Agriculture while attending Oregon Agricultural College. While serving with Company H, 127th Infantry, 32nd Infantry Division he was killed in France. He was survived by his father, and eight siblings.
Born in Radford City, Virginia, LCpl Lewton studied Agriculture while attending Oregon Agricultural College. While serving with the Company F, 20th Engineers, 6th Battalion, on 5 Feb 1918 the SS Tuscania (which LCpl Lewton was aboard), was torpedoed by the by a UB-77 German submarine. When the SS Tuscania sank several of the ship member’s bodies washed ashore the Isle of Islay, a little island in Scotland. The people of this Island did everything within their power to bury these men with honors including staying up all night to sew an American Flag for the burial.
Born in McMinnville, Oregon there isn’t much information available for 1st Lt Layton. While serving with the Army Reserve 5th Special Forces Group he was killed in Kien Phong, Vietnam.
