Family Housing

In addition to the many off campus housing options available, Oregon State is pleased to offer affordable housing in a supportive environment for OSU students with families.
 

Family Resource Center

Advocates for and provides quality programming and services to all OSU families with dependent care needs to support the academic, professional and personal growth and success of the whole person. 
 

Health Care

There are two programs under which family members may qualify for health coverage from the VA.  If you’re the family member of an active-duty, retired, or deceased service member, National Guard Soldier, Reservist, or Medal of Honor recipient, you may qualify for the TRICARE program.  If you are the current or surviving spouse or child of a Veteran with disabilities or a service member who died in the line of duty you may be able to get health insurance through CHAMPVA.

 

Human services resource center

A campus-based food pantry and food assistance program, they are most well-known on campus for our Textbook Lending Program and assistance for those in housing crisis.
 

Counseling & Psychological Services

There may be times when your student would benefit from additional support or talking with a professional. This is where you come.

 

Military OneSource

You're part of a military family that numbers in the millions. You share common experiences, values and feelings of being in this together. That’s community. To support and bolster your own family, lean on your military community – including Military OneSource – to find answers and guidance from those who have been there, done that.

 

Sesame Street for Military Families

Sesame Street for Military Families is a free, bilingual (English and Spanish) website where families can find information and multimedia resources on the topics of military deployments, multiple deployments, homecomings, injuries, grief, and self-expression.

 

Guide to Financial Assistance for Military Families

Whether you are an active duty member of the military, a veteran learning to readjust to normal life after deployment or a spouse of a military member, assistance is available to help you with everything, from college bills to your electric bills.
