Biography
Capt. Busch piloted a U.S. Army Air Corps B-17F Flying fortress, and was attached to the 1174th pilot training squadron from Luke Army Base in Phoenix, Arizona. During a training exercise in the area, Busch's bomber crashed into the Burro mountain. Nine airmen lost their lives, including Capt. Busch. He was survived by his wife.
