Biography

1st Lt Caisse was born in New Mexico, he attended Oregon State College from 1938-1940, and was working on a Liberal Arts and Sciences Major. He was called to Service on 24 Oct 1941 in Camp Lee Virginia. While serving with the Army Air Force 71st Bomber Squadron, 38th Bomber Group, he served as a 1st Lt & Bombardier on the B-25D "Battlin' Biffy" #41-29701 during World War II. He went missing on the 5th of Oct in 1942 when his aircraft and crew were shot down by the Japanese Zeros over New Guinea. After the war on 12 Dec 1945 he was declared killed in action on the day he went missing. He was survived by his parents and two brothers.
