Biography

Capt. Stanley enlisted as a pilot in the Air Force on 30 September 1964. Capt. Stanley was the pilot of a McDonnell Douglas Phantom II Fighter (F-4C), that went missing during operations in Quang Nam, Vietnam. Capt. Stanley was transferred to the deceased roll in 1973 without consultation of the family and without verification of death. His aircraft crash was identified around 1999 and the crews remains were stored in Hawaii for identification.
