"Louis served as a Captain and Pilot on a B-25 (#unknown), 490th Bomber Squadron, 341st Bomber Group, Medium, U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II.
He resided in Deschutes County, Oregon prior to the war.
Louis was declared "Missing In Action" when his B-25, along with 8 other B-25's, were returning from a mission that had completed bombing the Thazi Rail Road junction when the group was attacked by an ME-109 and ten, or more Zeros. They were shot down in this attack.
He was awarded the Air Medal and the Purple Heart.

Capt. Davies was the Pilot of the B-26G "Marauder Buno" #43-34424 in the 495th Bomb Squadron, 344th Bomb Group. He was killed while attempting to crash land the "Marauder Buno" in Trauchgau, Bavaria Germany on September 10th, 1945.
PFC Davies served in the U.S Army 75th infantry division in WWII. He died on January 24th, 1945 in Aldringen Belgium.

Born in Portland Oregon, PFC Cullen was called to active duty on July 5, 1943. He survived the initial invasion of Leyte Island in the Philippines and landed on Okinawa around the 1st of April. He was killed while serving with Company C 383rd Infantry, 96th Division in Japan. PFC Cullen was survived by his parents and his brother.

Born in Los Angeles, California Capt Crowell joined the service on 12 Mar 1942 out of Portland. He served with the 12th Air Force, 57th Bombardment Wing, 321st Bombardment Group, 448th Bombardment Squadron. While holding the position of Flight Leader (pilot of the lead aircraft for the 27 plane mission), his aircraft B-25 Mitchell Bunno # 42-64655 was hit by Anti Aircraft fire in the Navigator’s compartment as they reached the target in Italy and the tail of the aircraft was shot off.
Born in Newberg Oregon, 1st Lt Crews signed the draft on 22 Feb 1943 in Corvallis while studying Forestry at Oregon State College, he enlisted on 22 Mar 1943 in Portland. He went missing in Germany, while serving in the Army with the 901 Field Artillery Battalion 76th Division.

Born in Maupin, Oregon, Cadet Crabtree registered for the draft on 30 Jun 1942. While training to become a Pilot with the 7th Training Group, he was killed in a training accident when his and another plane collided over Phoenix, Arizona. He was survived by his parents and sister.
