Biography
Lt James Cate was born in Baker, Oregon, he signed the draft on 1 Jul 1941 and was called to service shortly after graduating from dental school in 1942. While serving with the 4th Medical Brigade, 4th Marine Division he was killed in the Pacific in 1944. He was survived by his father and step mother.
